Emerald FunFest is on Sunday 12th April, 2026 10am – 3pm. FunFest will be situated in and around the Gemco car park, 19 Kilvington Drive, Emerald.
The Funfest family day will launch the festival proper with an official opening, rides, music, food court, market stalls and a host of kids’ activities in the GEM Theatre precinct. Be sure to get wristbands online before you arrive, for the best value and the most fun.
There will also be stacks of free kids’ activities, roving street performers and surprises galore. There are still some spaces for food, general merchandise and community group stalls. Email info@pave.org.au if interested.

Each ride and activity will cost $10 each in advance or on the day.
To purchase wristbands after 9am on Sunday 12th April, the price will be $40 each.
Come to the Railway Carriage at Gemco with your name and/or ticket from 9:00am on the day to collect your pre-purchased wristband or to buy on the day.
The main stage features music and dance performances all day. Sit and watch the performances while enjoying something unique to eat or a bevvi from the pop up bar.
Free entertainment for the kids all day, face painting and street performances that will take you by surprise. A great range of market stalls and community activities that will put a smile on everyone’s face. There will be colour and magic everywhere you look.
A fabulous art exhibition by the late Jak Stent will be open for viewing on-site in the Gemco Hall.
